Health chiefs in Trafford are calling on residents to join the conversation and share their views about the redesign of health and social care services in the borough. The ‘new health deal’ aims to secure safe and sustainable hospital services in Trafford. Now residents' views on how this should be done are being sought.
The redesign work is being driven by three principles - to provide the right care, at the right time, in the right place; to secure cost effective services; and to ensure that services are designed to the highest clinical standards.
An online survey that allows people to share their experiences of services and outline their priorities for the redesign is now live and follows a number of public listening events that were held in December. The survey can be found at www.surveymonkey.com/s/newhealthdeal. Alternatively, you can request that a paper copy is sent to you by calling NHS Trafford on 0161 873 6008. The deadline for completing the survey is February 17.
The following events have been set up to gather people’s views and involve them in the ongoing work to redesign local health services (All the events take place between 6pm and 8pm, unless otherwise stated):
